Position: Buyer/Purchasing Clerk
APF has an immediate opening for a Buyer/Purchasing Clerk position for the corporate office located at 1916 Peyco Drive North, Arlington Texas. The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 4 years of industrial purchasing experience, have the ability to communicate effectively with focus on supplier development and cost reduction.
Pay is $12.00-$13.00 per hour, commensurate with skills and will be determined after interview.
Requirements:
- At least two years experience in purchasing/sourcing, preferably within industrial environment
- Must possess strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Sharp analytical skills
- Persistence to investigate all avenues of supply
- Ability to evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers
- Must be highly organized and detailed oriented
- Computer literacy
